The Global Anglican Future Conference meets in mid-June and the Lambeth Conference in mid-July. This prayer is a variation of that posted yesterday.
Dear God,
We pray that these meetings will bring glory to Your name. In Your tender mercies, grant them:
–prophets who can distinguish light from darkness, truth from lies
–servants to speak life and blessing over Your church.
–teachers to stand against predators.
–exhorters to reveal Your presence in difficult circumstances.
–givers to protect new life.
–leaders to release an anointing of holiness for future generations.
–the merciful to set aside time and make it holy. Amen.
