Psalm 104, various verses

March 29, 2008

O LORD, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your possessions– (Psalm 104:24)
      Thank you, LORD, for all that you have done for us; help us to recognize your provision for us for what it is.

These all wait for you, that you may give them their food in due season. (Psalm 104:27)
      LORD, please help us wait on you and receive with thanksgiving all your provision for us.

May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in his works. (Psalm 104:31)
      LORD, let your glory and your light shine forth in our lives. You have made us, we are your workmanship; we pray that you will be able to rejoice in us.

I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. (Psalm 104:33)
      May my meditation be sweet to him; I will be glad in the LORD. (Psalm 104:34)

Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD! (Psalm 104:35)
      Hallelujah! Amen.

A word received: Listen me, listen as you read my word, listen to me.

Presiding Bishop Schori has called for an organizing convention on Saturday, Mar 29.

Psalm 104 selected verses

1 Praise the LORD, O my soul.
       O LORD my God, you are very great;
       you are clothed with splendor and majesty.

 2 He wraps himself in light as with a garment;
       he stretches out the heavens like a tent

 3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
       He makes the clouds his chariot
       and rides on the wings of the wind.

 4 He makes winds his messengers,
       flames of fire his servants.

  30 When you send your Spirit,
       they are created,
       and you renew the face of the earth.

 31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever;
       may the LORD rejoice in his works-

Splendorous, majestic God, clothed in light and grounded in power,

Send Your Holy Spirit to the Anglican diaspora in San Joaquin. Purify them and renew the Central Valley of California.  Blow, Spirit, blow.  Blow through the Central Valley.

Your sheep are scattered on every hillside.  May they hear the voice of the Good Shepherd.  May You rejoice in Your work and Your glory endure forever.  Amen.
