You will arise and have compassion on Zion,
for it is time to show favor to her;
the appointed time has come.
For her stones are dear to your servants;
her very dust moves them to pity. Psalm 102:13-14
As we go through this season of litigation and fragmentation, may our cry be,
O God, have mercy on us all.
We have miserably failed. Help us to lean on You and not on our own understanding. May we never forget Your faithfulness, Your Truth, and Your Holy Word. Amen.

Almighty Father,
You laid the foundation of the earth when the morning stars sang together. You commanded the morning and caused the dawn to know its place. You have shut in the sea and walked in the recesses of the deep. You have begotten the rain and the drops of dew, the ice and the frost of heaven. You have comprehended the expanse of the earth.
We are of small account. We know that You can do all things and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted. We humbly ask that You raise up theological teachers in the Anglican Communion who sit under You in humility. We plead for theological teachers who will not put You in the wrong, who will not condemn You that they may be in the right. Save them from uttering what they do not understand, things too wonderful which they do not know.
We ask for theological programs and colleges that do not darken counsel by words without knowledge. Make our Anglican theological colleges into lights set upon the hills.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, through whom all things were made. Amen.
Job 38, 40:8, 42:2-3, Matthew 5:14, John 1:3
