Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; (Psalm 1:1)
Holy Spirit, please help us recognize the heavy cost of the counsel of the ungodly, the paths of sinners, and being scornful. Help us shun these and enter God’s blessing.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law he meditates day and night. (Psalm 1:2)
Father, please help us delight in your word and teaching. Please graft your word into our hearts.

Jesus, plant us by streams of living water, and make our lives fruitful for your kingdom. Bless the work of our hands and minds so that it prospers.
The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. (Psalm 1:4)
Jesus, we cry out to you for those who don’t know you, that you will bless them with a saving knowledge of you.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. (Psalm 1:5)
Father, help us to be faithful and effective witnesses to those who do not know your love for them.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalm 1:6)
LORD, help us walk in your righteous ways. Thank you.
A word received: Pray for my little ones who walk by faith. Pray they will catch glimpses of me in their daily lives. Pray for their oppressors — pray they will repent. Pray for my little ones — for the lost and the least; pray they will find me mighty to save.
