Remember the word to your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope. (Psalm 119:49)
LORD, help me to be a man of hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has given me life. (Psalm 119:50)
Holy Spirit, please help me to abide in the new life you have given me.
The proud have me in great derision, yet I do not turn aside from your law. (Psalm 119:51)
Father, please help me keep my attention on you and not those who hold me in derision.
I remembered your judgments of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself. (Psalm 119:52)
Jesus, please help me daily find my comfort in your good judgments.
Indignation has taken hold of me because of the wicked, who forsake your law. (Psalm 119:53)
LORD, I cry out to you for those who have departed from your ways; draw them back to you.
Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. (Psalm 119:54)
Holy Spirit, help me sing the songs of Zion.
I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and I keep your law. (Psalm 119:55)
Jesus, your name is above every name, help me to keep it holy.
This has become mine, because I kept your precepts. (Psalm 119:56)
LORD, write your Torah on my heart — give me a heart of flesh and not of stone. Thank you.

***** I have posted the words received since the beginning of the year on http://albanyintercessor.blogspot.com/2009/05/words-received-since-beginning-of-2009.html, I commend them to your reading and prayerful reflection.
Albany Intercessor
Dear Albany Intercessor, Thank you for considering my request and for the link to your ‘Words Received’ for this year. They always reveal Our Father’s heart…shows us the love, kindness, gentleness, compassion, mercy…that are His character and are the methods and means to draw, guide and correct His children and His Church. It’s taken a long time for me to see, however…I had thought God was harsh, demanding, distant, unapproachable, condemning, angry at the least infraction…ever ready to banish me forever.
How wrong I was.
What comfort to find His arms open and ready when I am willing to turn and return to Him.
Your ‘Words Received’ have more than a few times, shown God’s true heart to me.
Today’s ‘Word Received’ was right on target to address a continual struggle in my life. Thank you, Father. Thanks and many blessings, Albany Intercessor for being His yeilded, cleaned and emptied vessel so that His truth, love and life can reach us.
