I’ve shared this story before. Years ago, I was on a village ramble in Oxfordshire. We came upon a weeping willow on the bank of a stream. Part of the root system was submerged in the stream, and part encased in soil. Tears were dripping from each leaf.
Dear Heavenly Father,
There is a stream, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. We beseech You to send a stream of that living water into the spirits of Nigel and Lynn. May they be so hungry for Your living water that the very blood vessels of their bodies will carry it. May living water flow through their spirits and to every cell in their bodies. May they rest in You and be healed. Amen.
