O blessed Lord God, we hold before you those who are suffering from the earthquake the has brought such devastating destruction to the people of Haiti. We pray for those whose lives have been lost, for the missing, for those injured, for those who have been left homeless, and for those who grieve the loss of loved ones, and entrust them to your loving care. May we find ourselves seeking to reach out and touch the lives of these precious people of your creation, and sharing the love that is ours through the gift of your Son. Grant these things for the welfare of your people, through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.
