Genetic healing, part 3

January 29, 2010

Written while on retreat. Some of the ideas for this prayer came from “Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done in Earth” by Jim and Faith Chosa. .

O Holy Spirit, come. Come now. Come with more power.
Show me my forgotten sins and convict me. I confess ______. I confess the sins of my ancestors, _________. Remove from me all of my sins and all historical and generational issues of iniquity. With Your living water, wash away the accumulated defilements of my body, soul, and spirit.
Anoint me, body, mind, and spirit with Your love. Lift the burdens off my shoulders. Penetrate and break the yoke off my neck. Penetrate and realign all abnormal chromosomal linkages.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. I bless You Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things, and I bless Your glorious name forever. The whole earth is full of Your glory.

Christ be in my heart.
Christ be in my identity.
Christ be in my genome.
Christ! Christ! Christ!
Fill me with all the fullness of Your love. Amen.
Psalm 72:18-9, Isaiah 6:3, 10:27, Ephesians 3:14-19

Psalm 32:8 (Darby Translation)
I will instruct thee and teach thee the way in which thou shalt go; I will counsel [thee] with mine eye upon thee.

Abba Father,
Thank You for Your instructions. Amen.

Psalm 51:1-4

January 29, 2010

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. (Psalm 51:1)
LORD, have mercy on us; according to your lovingkindness and in the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out our transgressions. Lead us in this diocese in the way of holiness. Thank you.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm 51:2)
Jesus, let the cleansing fire of your Holy Spirit move through this diocese.

For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. (Psalm 51:3)
Holy Spirit, please help us make a good confession of our sins and receive you more and more into our hearts.

Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight– that you may be found just when you speak, and blameless when you judge. (Psalm 51:4)
Father, we return to you; we have sinned against heaven and before you and are no longer worthy to be called your children. In your mercy restore us to a right relationship with you. Father, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart. Thank you.
