We praise God that Mother Miriam was transferred out of the Cardiac-Pulmonary Surgery Unit to a regular room this afternoon. Her spirits are great and her body is showing signs of solid post-surgical healing. We are all grateful for the prayers of so many caring friends.
Arrangements have been made for the sacraments to be administered during the couple of days remaining to her hospital stay, and we ask her friends, clergy and lay alike, to NOT VISIT her in the hospital. Mother Miriam hopes to master the remaining rehabilitation milestones needed as quickly as possible, to recover as needed for a week or so at the convent, and then be available for visiting.
Pray with us for continued protection for her time in the more public wing of the hospital and for a speedy return to the convent.
