St. Andrew’s Cathedral at Singapore

The cathedral is the venue of the Fourth Global South to South Encounter.

Esther 5:1-3 (King James Version)
Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

Sovereign Lord,
You are high and mighty, seated between the cherubim of heaven. Stir the intercessors of the Anglican Communion to adorn themselves in holiness, covered in the Blood of Jesus, with mercy and truth around their necks, that they may obtain favor in Your sight. Hold out Your scepter to them and grant their request for the healing of the Anglican Communion. Amen.

    Dear Holy Father,

Please have mercy. Let the wind of Your Holy Spirit, the wind of revival, refreshing streams love and truth flow throughout over and in this 4th Encounter of the Global South and throughout the Anglican Communion.

Let the powerful transforming Gospel Word proclaimed by these Your shepherds go forth to ALL Anglicans and all Christians. Open hearts, ears to receive. Please help it to grow and live, to be valued and nurtured as more than life itself.

Please crown each of Anglican leaders gathered in Singapore, and all those who love and serve you in the Anglican Communion with Life, Righteousness, Hope, Peace, and Joy.
Clothe Your Anglican leaders and all Your people with compassion, cover us with the garments of salvation. Help us to put on the girdle of Truth, helmet of Salvation, the breastplate of Righteousness, shoes of the preparation of the Gospel, the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit. Help us to value and desire the servant’s towel and basin and the humility that you modeled for us more than any other office or crown. Let us to humbly receive, cherish and honor the mantle of Your purposes on our lives no matter how lowly or humble, quiet or unknown the service may be.

Give us vision lest we perish.

Help us to humble ourselves and allow no pride, ambition, greed or self-glory to enter our hearts.
Help us to look to You and despising the shame, persecution, ridicule, opposition, misunderstanding…remaining faithful, keeping You as our first love, loving You and Your living Word with all we are and have – with heart, soul and strength, spirit, soul and body.
Help all that is done at this meeting to be for Your sake and for Your glory, now and forever.
For You alone are the builder, leader and healer of Your Church. You alone are able to keep us from falling and present us blameless before the Father’s throne.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
