Isaiah 35:9 (New Living Translation)
Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it.
Because of tragic car accidents, some intercessors in Yazoo had cried out to God about the safety of the roads. They had asked for the cleansing of the roads used in the transport of slaves. They had spoken life on the roads. They had claimed Isaiah 35′s highway of holiness for the roads.
I keep hearing of remarkable road stories during the tornado. I know of two cars picked up the the wind and then gently set back down. Yesterday I heard of a father and young son sucked out of a pickup truck. They found themselves sitting side by side on the ground next to the truck. Although the prayers were not said with a tornado in mind, I can’t help but wonder if the prayers of the saints activated a supernatural work of God’s holy angels.
UPDATE: I just heard another one. A holy family of intercessors lives in Yazoo. The grandfather had to be taken to the ER in Jackson before the tornado. A cousin went to pick up the four children left at home. The cousin had a total of six children in the pickup truck. She was fleeing Yazoo on the highway. They could see the storm cloud. She can’t explain it, but her truck was supernaturally pushed down the highway out of the path of destruction into a safe zone.
Praise God!
