Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. (Psalm 51:1)
Jesus, I come to you; in your mercy blot out all my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm 51:2)
Holy Spirit, please do this work in me.
For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. (Psalm 51:3)
Holy Spirit, bring us all to such self-knowledge.
Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight–that you may be found just when you speak, and blameless when you judge. (Psalm 51:4)
Father, come among us at the Diocesan Convention and bring us all to such self-knowledge. Help us truly acknowledge our sins and transgressions against you and your righteousness laws. Please help us receive the forgiveness you are offering us through your son Jesus. Thank you.
Father, we pray for your work among your people.
Holy Spirit, we pray we will have hearts to respond to what you are doing among us.
Holy Spirit, we pray for a revival of faithfulness and truth among your people.
Jesus, we pray for wells and springs of living water to open up in every parish and at the Diocesan Convention.
