While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Luke 9:34-35)
Father, give us ears to hear what Jesus is saying to us right now. Give us ears and hearts to respond to what your Holy Spirit is saying to the churches right now. Father, our hearts have grown cold and we have not turned to you as we should. Come among us with your Holy Spirit and cause us to stop and listen to your beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, our savior. Thank you.
