Prayer Table Report

Christ Church Schenectady Prayer Table Report, November 6, 2010, 9:30 -10:30 A.M. Torre Bissell from Christ Church Schenectady and Sue Plaske from St. Michael’s Colonie.

+–indicates received wooden cross made by Dennis Adams of North Carolina

Bill (long time regular) — Prayed for healing of epilepsy and loneliness. Prayed that God would raise up a wife for him.

+Sha (young man) — He asked prayer for his grandmother Jo Ann to get well. We prayed for healing for her and for blessing on him.

+Matt — He asked prayer for a “big change” in his life. We prayed that Jesus would be master of his life.

Fatima (Muslim woman) — We gave her an Arabic Bible. She said, “I believe this book comes from God.” We prayed for God’s blessing on her and her family.

+Aston — “Safety for my wife and two kids.” We asked him to place his burdens at the foot of the cross. We prayed for God’s bless and protection and that he would leave his burdens with Jesus.

+Marleen — She was kicked out of her apartment yesterday. She is starting a new job today. We asked her to place her burdens at Jesus’ feet. She did and started to cry. When we were done praying for her she prayed for us.

++Tim — asked prayer for his family, gave a substantial contribution to the parish. Tim said he had given one of Dennis Adams’ crosses to a coach at Siena College. He is going to give these two crosses away as well.

+Caesar (regular) — We prayed that he would grow into the man, the father, the husband that God is calling him to be. Caesar said he drove up to give God respect for what he has done and to ask for prayer.

+Paula — She asked for continued prayer for her daughter Tiffany and for her other children. We also prayed for her friend Debra who is also a regular and has bad asthma.

+Al — Asked prayer for God’s blessing and restoration of health and peace (he walks with a walker).

+Renee — Came for prayer for her daughter +Alana who was brutally raped in New York City this week. We prayed Renee would know when to speak and when to be silent. We prayed for healing and comfort for Alana. When we were done praying for her she prayed for us.
