Psalm 105:39-45

He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night. (Psalm 105:39)
      LORD, cover the dioceses of Albany and South Carolina and all your other faithful dioceses and parishes. Please lead us by your light.

The people asked, and he brought quail, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. (Psalm 105:40)
      Thank you, Jesus, for give of yourself every time we receive your body and blood in the Eucharist.

He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it ran in the dry places like a river. (Psalm 105:41)
      Father, you will prepare a table for us in the presence of our enemies and will feed and clothe us in the wilderness of the Episcopal Church. (See Psalm 23:5) Thank you.

For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. (Psalm 105:42)
      Holy Spirit, you are the promise of our Father — please come among us.

He brought out his people with joy, his chosen ones with gladness. (Psalm 105:43)
      Bring this diocese and your other faithful dioceses and parishes forth with joy and gladness.

He gave them the lands of the gentiles, and they inherited the labor of the nations, that they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD! (Psalm 105:44-45)
      Jesus, please help us remember that all you have given us is a sign of your love for us — please help us observe your statutes and keep your laws. Praise you and thank you!
