This is a prayer I wrote in March, not knowing that Islamists in Khartoum supported and funded by the Arab world consider South Sudan the “gateway” to the Islamization and Arabization of all of Africa.
Hear, O Sudan: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Lord of hosts, come to Sudan.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart.
Lord of hosts, be their garland of glory and diadem of beauty.
Love the LORD your God with all your soul.
Lord of hosts, be their spirit of justice.
Love the LORD your God with all your might.
Lord of hosts, be their strength in the battle.
Write these words on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Lord of hosts, turn back the battle at the gate. We stand in agreement with Your written word and write these words on the spiritual gates of Sudan. Amen.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6,9;Isaiah 28:5-6
