I feel such a great sense of gratitude to God. There were many months when I didn’t believe we would see this day. It is a privilege to watch a nation be born, but with this birth, it is more than a privilege. I truly believe we have witnessed a miracle. What an awesome God we have.
I know that many, many problems lie ahead, and more vigilance in prayer will be warranted. I just want to pause, though, and say thank you to our readers. Lent & Beyond has been involved in several prayer campaigns for Sudan over the years, and through the many prayers, we have not received one complaint. Indeed, we’ve had commenters add their own prayers and other blogs link to ours.
Thank you, dear intercessors. Thank you.–JW
