They have limited human protection. We must pray that the Good Shepherd will watch over His people in Egypt.
On the other hand, Ann Alexander reports a solidarity of Muslims and Christians on Tehrir Square. On reading Alexander’s account, I came to the conclusion that our prayers, and the prayers of many, many people around the world, do make a difference.
The next government hangs in the balance. Will it be a secular democracy or a military dictatorship or an Islamic caliphate?
