Holy Spirit, help us daily share the good news of what Jesus has done for us. Help us share of our faith and belief in Jesus and his resurrection and speak words of hope and assurance.
knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. (2 Corinthians 4:14)
Holy Spirit, you raised Jesus from the dead, raise the parishes and people of this diocese to new life.
For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 4:15)
Jesus, let your grace and mercy flood this diocese and cause us all to come to you with thanksgiving.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
Holy Spirit, renew us day by day in the inward man.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 )
Jesus, please help us keep our eyes on the prize: eternal life with you in your arms.
