What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! (Romans 9:14)
Father, please help us put off the old man and put on the righteousness that comes from knowing your son and walking in his ways. Thank you for your righteousness.
For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” (Romans 9:15)
Jesus, have mercy on us, have compassion on us. Let your light shine forth in the present darkness in the church and in the nation.
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Holy Spirit, move us and the leaders of our church and government to humble ourselves and pray and seek your face. Holy Spirit, heal our land.
A word received 6/4/2009: Pray for this nation. Pray for wise and godly men and women who will lead my people in my ways. Pray for the courts, that they will do true justice. Pray for the Congress and the legislatures, that they will have a spirit of wisdom and discernment. Pray for the President and the Governors, that their hearts will be turned into my ways.
A word received 6/25/2009: Pray for the President.
Pray for my work in his heart and mind.
Pray for wise and godly counselors for him.
Pray for wisdom in the storm.
Pray that he will look to me rather than opinion polls.
Pray for my word to lodge in his heart.
Praying the Nicene Creed, a word received 12/29/07: Each day I want you to take a phrase from the Nicene Creed and pray that phrase. My people need to hear what is true and make it their own.
I believe in one God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, thank you for being one and thank you for your love for one another. Please help me, help your people live in the reality of your unity and love. Thank you.
the Father Almighty,
Father, thank you for being a father to me. Thank you that by your might you have made your son Jesus known to us so that we can become your children.
maker of heaven and earth,
Thank you, Father, for your creation. Please help us by your Holy Spirit to be better stewards of your creation.
and of all things visible and invisible;
Father, we know that we are surrounded by your angelic hosts and that whole company of heaven, that cloud of witnesses that has gone before us. Help us to be steady in you till we reach that place of rest. Thank you.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
Father, guide us by your Holy Spirit so that every other “lord” in our lives is brought under the sovereign rule of Jesus and he becomes our one Lord. Thank you.
the only begotten Son of God,
Father, thank you for sending your one and only son to us so that we might become your children.
begotten of his Father before all worlds,
Jesus, you have always been there; help us receive you into every part of our lives.
God of God, Light of Light,
Jesus, you are God and you are the light to take us through this time of darkness in the church and in the nation. You are the word of God and are a lamp to our feet.

Subject: Noel Dawes Update Friday April 8th
Dear Philothea (Souls that love God),
Here follows a “Noel” update:
Noel is home, very happy, and upbeat. He had a cardiac MRI at 6.30am today.(Friday)
He is wearing a portable defibrillator. They are still assessing the tests and they
should be ready midweek-ish.
Noel and Meryl are VERY grateful for you prayers and feel;
“The Peace that surpasses all understanding” 24/7 from all or you.
PLEASE keep them and their family in your prayers for good results next week.
Noel tells me that he has been reading “Healing Everywhere” by The Rev. Gaynor Banks
(founder of the OSL). Noel told me, “Gaynor’s words have really been touching my heart as
I rest. God is in control.”
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TARGETED PRAYERS… KEEP ‘em COMING….
I will keep sending Noel updates as needed.
Be well, do good works and for the sake of God love one another,
God bless you, Fr, Nigel+
***** For Prisoners.
O GOD, who spares when we deserve punishment, and in your wrath remembers mercy; we humbly beseech you, of your goodness, to comfort and succor all prisoners [especially those who are condemned to die]. Give them a right understanding of themselves, and of your promises; that, trusting wholly in your mercy, they may not place their confidence anywhere but in you. Relieve the distressed, protect the innocent, awaken the guilty; and forasmuch as you alone bring light out of darkness, and good out of evil, grant to these your servants, that by the power of your Holy Spirit they may be set free from the chains of sin and death, and may be brought to newness of life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
“Remember the prisoners as if chained with them–those who are mistreated–since you yourselves are in the body also.” Hebrews 13:3
Remember those who are imprisoned in the Middle East because of their desire for democracy and dignity, e.g., in Syria, Bahrain, Egypt, and Libya.
