Christ Church Schenectady Prayer Table Report, Saturday, April 30, 2011, 9:33 – 10:30 a.m. Steve Evans and Torre Bissell on State St. and Carol MacNaughton and Mark Pasko on Albany St. [Steve stood guard in the background the whole hour. He didn't want me there alone.]
+–indicates received a wooden cross made by Dennis Adams of North Carolina
State St.
Mark — He is going to do prison ministry in a county jail for the first time this evening.
+Dee — She said she was hungry and needed money for food. I prayed that God would provide for her. I had no sense that I should give her money.
+Chad (young man) — Asked prayer for his marriage and for his wife Leprecia. He had drifted away from church and could feel the spiritual emptiness from that. He confessed his sins to Jesus and renewed his life in Jesus.
[While setting up the prayer table I found a woman's military ID on the sidewalk. I wondered how I could return it. It had a name, but no address.]
+Shirley (sister-in-law to Debra, a regular) — She came with Debra and asked if I had seen an ID around. I took it out of my pocket and handed it to her. Lots of thanksgivings! She had dropped it when she and Debra had come by earlier.
+Debra (regular) — She asked about my health. She, Shirley (see above) and I had a time of praising and thanking God for his kindness.
+Brittney (young woman) — “For my life and my job.”
+Kenneth (man) — “Thankful I woke up this morning.”
Frank — I prayed for his provision and protection throughout the week.
+Youssif (young man) — “That my baby will come out OK and do better” and for his girlfriend, +Erica.
+Nyid (teenage girl)
+Scott — “For recover and life. I have a year clean.”
Steve — We prayed for guidance about his getting a building to set up his business.
Ed — Thanksgiving that his echocardiogram came back completely normal.
+Harry — “Some world peace would be nice.”
+Hugh — 72 today. I prayed for birthday blessings for him and his family.
+++Brandon (bottle guy) — “I want to be clean.” He confessed his sins and accepted forgiveness. He said he already had a cross, but took three more to give away to others. When I handed the three to him, he said, “Oh, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.”
Albany St.
