Prayer Table Report

Christ Church Schenectady Prayer Table Report, Saturday, May 7, 2011, 9:20 – 10:30 a.m. Torre and Jonathan Bissell on State St. and Sue Plaske and Mark Pasko on Albany St.

+–indicates received a wooden cross made by Dennis Adams of North Carolina

State St.

+Jane — “For health.”

+Richard — “I’m homeless.”

The Bus Driver slowed and honked as he drove by.

+Rumar (young man) — We prayed he would know the Father’s love.

+Maurice — “For my family.”

2 men walking by on the other side of the street asked us to pray for them.

+Sam (a woman) — “For my mom, Lee Ann.”

+Moses (semi-regular) — We prayed for him and his family.

+Gary — “Money.”

+Debra and +Paula (regulars) — We prayed for health and provision for them. We prayed for healing of Debra’s foot which needs some surgery and for her mother, +Elizabeth, in New York City who will be having surgery this week. We prayed for Paula’s son, +Tayvon, who has a serious sinus infection.

+Mary (an older woman using a walker) — “Health.”

Richard — “For health and for my family.”

+Tiffany — “That my kids will be good people.”

+Dwayne (young man)

Ishan (a young Muslim man from Morocco who has come to the prayer table 3 or 4 times in the last four years) — He asked prayer that his wife Sakina and his 4-year-old son Elwalid would “get the papers” and be able to join him here in the United States.

+Sam (young woman) — She asked prayer for her mom, Vicky, who has severe stomach problems and possibly a tumor.

Bill (regular) — “My health.” We prayed that he would be free from seizures and protected from falls.

+Natasha (young woman) and +Andrew (a semi-regular alcoholic) I was thankful. This is the first time I have ever seen Andrew sober.

Desdemona (Macedonia 7th Day Adventist Church on Swan St.) — We prayed that the Holy Spirit would come down on their congregation this morning.

+Man — came by to get a cross for himself and his +wife.

Albany St.

Heather – For God’s Blessing

Frankie - For God’s Blessing and Peace

Uncle Ted – His health and a better life. (collecting cans to get cigarettes)

Richard – for a job and success and his safety

Keisha – for health and God’s blessing and peace to be known by her.

Owen ( young man in 20s) – for his aunt Debbie who is struggling with the affects of alcoholism for healing and for himself for peace and protection. We gave him a Bible. He left and he came back a little later, shook hands and thanked us again.
