3. Balaam’s ass between Pethor and Moab

6. The disobedient prophet, between Bethel and Judah

When he was gone, a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his corpse was thrown on the road, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the corpse.
7. The Shunammite between Shunem and Carmel

Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, “Drive, and go forward; do not slacken the pace for me unless I tell you.” And so she departed, and went to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
So it was, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to his servant Gehazi, “Look, the Shunammite woman!

It is interesting to compare the donkey series with the series of eight postures, derived from the study of Moses’ eight ascents and descents on Mt Sinai and the eight resurrections:
God carries
Intercession at the feet of God
Stand up on feet
Out of love, choose servitude and give your master your ear
Reach out and rejoice at the intersection between heaven and earth
Unwrap the grave clothes and build a dwelling place for God
