(Sat., July 16, 2011; during our annual Summer Bazaar 8 a.m. through 2 p.m.; we set up His table on the lawn outside the rectory/Parish Hall along Route 9N. A sign adorned the table which proclaimed “Free Prayer (No obligations.)”

Note: Beautiful sunny day in the Adirondacks. We did not give out any of Dennis Adams of North Carolina’s wooden crosses because absent-minded Deacon Alan forgot to bring them.

The Sudanese government is making sure this is hidden from the world. The people of the Nuba Mountains are being murdered. The United Nations is about to leave the country – this weekend. Because Sudan is splitting into North and South. And the president is kicking the UN out. We cannot let these people die. It’s 2011. They can’t call for help – but we can. We can shout very loud indeed, if we all do it together.
