Israeli-Syrian border

August 13, 2011

Mines are being laid along Israeli-Syrian border in advance of September.

Psalm 89:11-12 (NIV)
The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth;
you founded the world and all that is in it.
You created the north and the south;
Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.

Lord,
The very limestone and basalt sing for joy at Your name! The mountains and the plateau declare Your glory. You created the Jordan River, Lake Kinneret, and the Yarmouk River. The seasonal streams sing as they run through the valleys.
We join our voices to all of creation and declare the holy, exalted name of God over the land of the Israeli-Syrian border. Holy is the name of God! Holy, holy, holy is His name.
As the dew, rain, and snow come down from heaven unto Mt. Hermon,
watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, send forth Your word into this region, to accomplish what You desire and achieve Your purposes. Amen.

Mark 11:9-11

August 13, 2011

Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” (Mark 11:9-10)
      Holy Spirit, help us in our generation who follow after Jesus give him the praise and honor he should have.

      Father, establish your kingdom in our hearts and accomplish your full will in our lives.

And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when he had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve. (Mark 11:11)
      Jesus, come into our community with your disciples. Enter our churches and civic institutions with your transforming love. Open our eyes as you did with Bartimaeus so that we can see what you are doing. (See Mark 10:46-52)

A word received: Pray for the move of my Holy Spirit.
