Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who make my people stray; who chant “Peace” while they chew with their teeth, but who prepare war against him who puts nothing into their mouths: (Micah 3:5)
LORD, there are many false prophets who have risen up in your church and in this nation and lead your people astray; have mercy on us.
“Therefore you shall have night without vision, and you shall have darkness without divination; the sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be dark for them. (Micah 3:6)
Jesus, we ask you to be our light in the present darkness in your church and in this nation. Lead us step by step in your ways.
So the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners abashed; indeed they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer from God.” (Micah 3:7)
Father, there is a famine of your word in the Episcopal Church; have mercy on us, for we cannot live by bread alone.
But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin. (Micah 3:8 )
Holy Spirit, guide the preachers and teachers of this diocese so that they will proclaim your power to transform lives and preach and teach justice and mercy and call us to repentance from our sins.
Now hear this, you heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice and pervert all equity, (Micah 3:9)
Holy Father, the leaders and teachers of the Episcopal Church abhore justice and pervert equity. Protect the Diocese of South Carolina and the Diocese of Albany. Thank you.
Who build up Zion with bloodshed and jerusalem with iniquity: her heads judge for a bribe, her priests teach for pay, and her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the LORD, and say, “Is not the LORD among us? No harm can come upon us.” (Micah 3:10-11)
Transform the economic life of this nation: the 1% who are wealthy have no end to their greed and care nothing for the 99% who are struggling to keep afloat.
Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, and the mountain of the temple like the bare hills of the forest. (Micah 3:12)
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17)
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10)

Subject: earthquake in Ica, Peru!
From Bishop Mike Chapman…….Ginnie, there was a 6.9 earthquake in Ica yesterday around 1:30 pm. TV sources say no damagae Father Misael says there were about 60 families whose homes were destroyed. I am sending money for blankets. I will speak at All Saints in Charlotte tomorrow and bring it up. I will be traveling Monday at 1:30. Please send out a prayer alert with this information. If I hear anymore before I get there, I will let you know!
Please pray for peace over the land and people…pray that there will be no damaging aftershocks and the earthquake will be a sign to the people that the Power of God is being released in their region to save, heal and deliver them.
Pray for protection for Bishop Mike as he travels back to Ica and that there will be no issues with connecting flights, buses, etc. that all luggage will arrive with him.
