Jesus, you are our rock and our foundation; help us to be firmly established on you. Preserve us from building on sand.

Holy Spirit, restore to your church and your people the daily reading of the Scriptures and meditating on them. We are told that Mary pondered all these things in her heart (see Luke 2:19). Please give us such a heart.
according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith– (Romans 16:26b)
Jesus, bring all of us in this diocese to the obedience of faith.
