Human trafficking

Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. There are 27 million slaves in the world.

James 5:1,4 (New Living Translation)
Look here, you rich people: Weep and groan with anguish because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you. . . . For listen! Hear the cries of the field workers whom you have cheated of their pay. The wages you held back cry out against you. The cries of those who harvest your fields have reached the ears of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Lord Jesus,
You are the door to freedom for the enslaved around the world. May they open their hearts to You and find themselves in the spaciousness of Your presence, away from the strife of tongues and the hand of the enemy.
O Lamb of God, You have laid down Your life for the poor and oppressed.
O Door of Hope, open a portal in the heavens over them.
O Strong Deliverer, ride forth and rescue Your children from enemies that steal, kill, and destroy.
O Good Shepherd, come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.
Come, Lord Jesus. Come! Amen.
Psalm 31, John 10
