Here follows yet another promise in the bible. A promise for a hope in healing in and through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. If you are in need of physical, emotional, mental, spiritual or generational healing get some prayer and stand firm on this promise from Jeremiah 30:17 “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord. “

Subject: Prayer requests for Welcome Home Initiative Washington
Dear Torre, and WHI team:
Ellen Proctor, who heads up the All Saints Healing and Intercessory Prayer ministry (the “HIPsters”) and who will coordinate prayer and intercession for WHI Washington, April 10-12, 2012, has asked for prayer as described below.
Dear WHI team,
I feel led to ask us as a group to start praying at specific times for this initiative. I would like to ask each of you to devote the first 5 minutes (feel free to do more) of your commute every morning to praying for the WHI. I think we all know what the specifics are but I’m going to list a few just to help. You could break these up into groups and pick a specific day to pray for each of them. I can’t explain the reasons why, but God needs for us to pray to bring about His will on Earth. There are many examples in Scripture of someone praying and then something changed, or disaster was avoided, or someone was healed, or the gifts of the Holy Spirit were poured out. I don’t pretend to understand why He needs us to pray, I just know that He does require us to and that when we do He has more power to move in our lives or the lives of those we pray for. So let’s all be intercessors!
1. Pray for the retreatants. Pray we will fill all the spots available. Pray they would come unashamed and be open to whatever the Spirit may want to do in their lives, and that powerful transformation will take place in their lives.
2. Money: pray for all the funds to come in, and to come quickly .
3. Volunteers (this may be the most challenging so please pray about this) – prayer ministers ,intercessors, food volunteers, driving volunteers, registration volunteers, hall monitors etc.
4. Pray for the Washington WHI team as a group. Planning and details can become stressful and/or overwhelming. Pray that the Lord would equip us to do his work and that we would not become weary. Pray also for protection for us as a group.
5. Pray for the closing ceremonies to go off without a hitch!
6. Pray that the out-of-town WHI team and our team would work well with each other and be on the same page.
I would also suggest that when you pray you start out with Praising God for His faithfulness and provision and thank Him for all He will do. Thanks, team!
Peace, Ellen
Albany Intercessor
