A threefold cord

Ecclesiastes 4:12 (ESV)
And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Father, I confess my mercurial feelings about the institutional church and how that affects my feelings toward individual persons. I confess my cold love. Have mercy, Lord. Have mercy. Teach me how to weave a threefold cord of faith, hope, and love in these troubled times.
Jesus, I give You my eyes and my hands. Teach me how to weave a threefold cord of faith, hope, and love in these troubled times.
Holy Spirit, please bring to my mind the appropriate scripture passages for each situation. Teach me how to weave a threefold cord of faith, hope, and love in these troubled times. Amen.
