Ephesians 1:16-23

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: (Ephesians 1:15-16)
Thank you, Lord, for all the saints who pray for this and the other faithful dioceses and bishops.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, (Ephesians 1:17)
Father, please give all your people in this diocese the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Jesus.

Jesus, open our eyes to our calling in you.

and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power (Ephesians 1:19)
Holy Spirit, please help us to know your power and believe what you can do among us.

which he worked in christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, (Ephesians 1:20)

far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:21)

And he put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:22-23)
Jesus, please bring your body — the Church — fully under your control. Please stop the attacks by the Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts-Schori upon your faithful bishops and dioceses and parishes.

Pray for God’s hand of protection over this diocese.

A word received: Rest in me: I AM your hope.
