Confession

We in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church of Canada have torn the fabric of the Communion. Who knows where these divisions will lead decades hence?

I acknowledge my sin . . . and Thou forgave . . .
Psalm 32:5

O Lord, we who remain in the Episcopal Church confess our corporate sins of arrogance and lust for power, for deeming small the influence of Your Holy Word in our lives, for dismissing that which people had sacrificed their lives to pass on to us, and for the idolatry of autonomy and sexual immorality.
Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Amen.
