Rowan Williams

And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God. Luke 13:11-13

Lord, we see through a glass darkly. Our thoughts are not Your thoughts, and our vision is obscured by our sins.
But You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. We entrust Rowan, Archbishop of Canterbury, to You–to Your judgment, Your mercies, and Your providence. If he is oppressed and bent over by spirits of infirmity and evil, generational curses, or satanic spells, call him forward and say to him, “You are set free.” Place Your hands upon him, align his mind with the mind of Christ, and surround him with a mantle of praise. All of this we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
