Mark 9:42…50

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.” (Mark 9:42)
Father, defeat the purposes of all those who would molest children or expose them to pornography. Bring them to repentance, but if they won’t repent, stop them anyway you can.

“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched” (Mark 9:43)
Holy Spirit, help us recognize and repent of all those patterns of thought and behavior that lead us into sin.

“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.” (Mark 9:49)
Jesus, baptize us anew with the fire of your Holy Spirit: cleanse us, refine us, renew us, make us fit for the kingdom of God.

“Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” (Mark 9:50)
Jesus, anoint and salt us with your peace. Shower down your love on us and give us your peace with one another. Thank you.

A word received: Pray for my people.
Pray they will know the power of my resurrection in their lives.
Pray for hope to come to my people.

      Notes from the Front Line

*****       May the Name of Jesus, the Son of God, who is mightier than all the hosts of Satan, and more glorious than all the angels of heaven, abide with us in our going out and our coming in; by day and by night; at morning and at evening; at all times and in all places.
May the Name of Jesus, the Son of God, protect and deliver us from the wrath of evil persons; from the assaults of evil spirits; from foes invisible; from the snares of the Evil One; and from all low passions that beguile the soul and body.
May the Name of Jesus protect and deliver us.
And the blessing of God Almighty, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be with us this day and always. Amen.
(adapted blessing from the Anglican Christian community in Ceylon, Pakistan, and India:)

Dear friends,
THANK YOU all for your prayers for the visit to Princeton Seminary. All went well, the three lectures and the healing service. It was well attended with much enthusiasm being shown. The written questions were very good indeed. It was a thought provoking and Spirit filled time. Personally I have to say it was so good to be able to speak and teach again. I sat down on a raised stool for every talk. We even noticed that in all the 45 min sessions the air in my lungs, that is, being able to say a sentence without taking a breath mid-sentence, got better the more I spoke. I cannot thank you enough for your prayers. They are VERY effective… I seemed to have used the term, “The efficacy of prayer…” several; times during my talks. I wonder why!!!!
I always like teaching at seminary’s. To be able to pass on this ministry to prospective clergy is such a privilege. It is so rewarding to see there eyes open to the word of Christ, in and through the healing ministry. The job satisfaction is out of this world! I have presented the ministry of healing to seminary students at: Nashotah house, WI (seven times) Yale, CT, (twice), Trinity Ambridge, PA, (Theee times) and Whitcliff theological collage, Oxford.
I had the pleasure of meeting Archbishop Bob Duncan while at the seminary. I met him in an airport lounge a couple of years ago and he remembered me. Amazing.
I have to say it was a blessed trip. Lynn drove me both ways and carried the bags as I brought up the rear on my stick.
I confess to feeling very blessed today. THANKS BE TO GOD for HIS healing touch. Again, It is soooooooo good to be alive….
Keep praying people… it works. I can tell you…… WITHOUT DOUBT….
On another note please keep praying for Fr. Hap Carrier. He is getting closer to heaven. I hope to see him tomorrow in the hospital.
Be well.
God bless you,
Fr, Nigel+
