And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. (John 10:23)
Jesus, please come and walk among us today. Help us recognize you when you come among us.
Then the Jews surrounded him and said to him, “How long do you keep us in doubt? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” (John 10:24)
Jesus, please help us come to you in hope and trust, rather than to dispute with you.
Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my father’s name, they bear witness of me.” (John 10:25)
Holy Spirit, please help us recognize the works that Jesus is doing among us and believe him. Thank you.
“But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I said to you.” (John 10:26)
Jesus, fold us in your arms and help us be your sheep.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)
A word received: Listen.
Father, please help us throughout this diocese to know the voice of Jesus, to listen to him, and to follow him wherever he leads us. Thank you.
“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10:28 )
Lord, protect your sheep from the lies of the deceiver.
“My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of my father’s hand.” (John 10:29)
Father, thank you that we are in your care. Please help us bear fruit worthy of repentance.
“I and my father are one.” (John 10:30)
Holy Spirit, please let the unity that the Father, Jesus, and you have with each other be a mark of our common life together in this diocese. Thank you for the work you are doing among us to prepare our hearts for the Diocesan Convention.

Please pray for all of Joe’s concerns and that God will provide for him and protect and preserve him.

t,a — MARY LOU — This elderly, friendly woman wanted prayers for God’s protection for her grand-daughter CHRISTIE who is pregnant with her first child. Pray that the pregnancy will go well and the child will eventually walk with the Lord. Mary Lou is ecstatic that she will soon have a great-grandchild!
VIRGINIA — This woman stopped somewhat reluctantly — but with certainty — on her way to her car and asked that we pray for the soul of her nephew ROBERT who recently passed away. She said Robert was a believer in Christ. I assured Virginia we would pray for Robert.
