Elisha’s bones

2 Kings 13:20-21 (New International Version)
Elisha died and was buried.
Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring. Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

Bones give structure to the body. Life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), and the blood is manufactured in the marrow of the bones.
The bones of Jesus were never broken.

Father in heaven,
We claim the blood of Jesus to make atonement for Joseph, Sally, Chris, Lauren, Gaenor, Mark, Samuel, Erin, Isabella, Christy, Nick, Alan, and David. Just as the children of Israel drew a bloodline over their doorposts so that the angel of death would pass them by, we draw a bloodline over these dear ones. We draw a bloodline over their central nervous systems and their neurons.
Come, Lord Jesus, and touch them. New life, Lord. New life and new structure. New life and new structure to neural tissue. May the praises of our mouths create a pathway for Your visitation to these loved ones, and may Your healing touch release new neural pathways for their healing. Amen.
