Israel

Iran has launched another satellite, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. President Obama has whittled down Israel missile defense aid. A terrorist planted a bomb on an Israeli embassy car in New Delhi.

Exodus 32:13 (NIV)
Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self: ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.’”

Our Father in heaven,
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Be gracious and show mercy to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Amen.

Proverbs 9:1 (NIV)

she has set up its seven pillars.

There are seven articles of liturgical furniture in the tent of meeting:

Laver
Not only purify us, but also our sacrifices.
Show bread
Grant us intimacy so that we may reveal Your manifest presence to the body of Christ.
Candlestick
May we bring light to the body of Christ.
Table of incense
Birth in us a spirit of gratitude that we may worship who You are.
Ark of the covenant
Help us to recognize Your authority in our lives and obey. Thank You for Your provision.
Mercy seat
May we rest in You and release Your holy presence to the body of Christ.

      Notes from the Front Line

***** Start now reading and reflecting on the lessons for Sunday so that you can receive all that God has for you (Mark 9:2-9; 2 Peter 1:16-19(20-21); 1 Kings 19:9-18; 27 or 27:5-11).
A word received: Urge people to read the whole story of Elijah (1 Kings 17:1-2 Kings 2:35) and then read this psalm (Psalm 27) “ in light of that story. Ask yourself, “How was I light and salvation to Elijah? How have I been light and salvation to you?

Subject: Daily quote…
We are designed to cry. So many people apologize to me when they weep. Tears are natural and normal. So many say, “I am afraid to cry because if I start, I fear that I will not be able to stop.” When tested, tears of joy and tears of sadness show different chemical make up as toxins are released. Women in Jesus time wore tear bottles, they would collect tears. Some even say that Mary washed Jesus feet with tears from her tear bottle. “Jesus wept. ” The shortest verse in the bible is found in John 11:45 in reference to his emotions regarding Lazarus. Shedding a tear is good for the soul. P.S. Grown men do cry!
