And he entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched him closely, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him. (Mark 3:1-2)
Holy Spirit, please set us free from legalism which blinds us to Jesus’ lordship and work.
And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.” (Mark 3:3)
Jesus, please help us step forward at your word.
Then he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent. (Mark 3:4)
Father, help our faith and trust in you manifest itself in doing good and saving lives.
And when he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. (Mark 3:5)
Holy Spirit, our hardness of heart so often grieves you; help us repent of that — change our hearts.

Jesus, please help us stretch forth our hands at your word to receive the healing you have for us.
Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. (Mark 3:6)
Father, stop all the plots of the leaders and teachers of the Episcopal Church to destroy those faithful to your son Jesus.
Jesus, please help us follow you into the churches and market places of our communities with the power of the gospel to heal and set your people free. Thank you.

Subject: Daily Quote…
We are born loved. Hopefully we are conceived in love. We are prewired by God to love and be kind. Somewhere along the journey we learn to be unkind and to hate, to be mean and angry. How sad. Are we locked into “The original sin?” Are we still trying to be set free? Imagine, if you will, a life that is not shadowed by the constant invitation to temptation. Turn, repent, Gods Kingdom is at hand. Keep your eyes on the Lord.

Subject: Prayer please for today Saturday March 3rd.
Dear praying souls,
I am leading an Order of Saint Luke healing conference here at St. Marks, Episcopal church, Orchard Park, Buffalo, NY. Today, I would invite your prayers and intercessions. Bishop William Franklin will be joining us and approximately one hundred people. It is extremely windy here. John 3:8 writes. “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
Thank you for your prayer support. GBU.
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3 John 1:2
