Mark 5:18-19

“Pray as you can, not as you can’t.” Dom John Chapman, OSB

And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” (Mark 5:18-19)
      Jesus, our heat’s desire and our on-going prayer is to be with you. Please help us hear your response to our request — that we should share with our friends and those in our homes, and tell them what you have done for us.

A word received: I AM you shelter.

Wait, I say on the LORD! (Psalm 27:14d) A word received: Wait on me, trust in me, place your hope in me, keep your eyes on me.

My friends ponder anew what the Almighty can do…
Words from the great hymn, Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation. Verse three:
      Praise to the Lord,
      who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
      surely his goodness
      and mercy here daily attend thee.
      Ponder anew
      what the Almighty can do,
      who with his love doth befriend thee.
Text: Joachim Neander
Music: Erneuerten Gesangbuch; harm. by William Sterndale Bennett
Get pondering my friend, please do not limit God. Let him befriend you.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
      Sunday morning, Catie and I head to Texas for a very brief visit with family prior to the Spring House of Bishop’s meeting at Camp Allen in the Diocese of Texas. I have to be at Camp Allen on the evening of the 14th for a Peer Coach Session on the 15th. Bishop Dan will also be attending the House of Bishops meeting and heads down on the 15th. We return on Wednesday, March 21. Your prayers for safe travel and a productive, spirit filled meeting for all the Bishops and supporting staff are most welcome.
