+Nathan, +Timonia, +Tylasha, +Halasaj, and +Teddy (5 children around ages 8 to 11)

+Natali (woman) — “I really need a job.”

+Louis — “Father God and Jesus are in my heart.” He goes to a Spanish language congregation at State Street Presbyterian Church. We prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill him up.

+Charlie (man — last year on a cold day he went to Guyanese restaurant up the street and brought me back a take-out meal of warm Roti (bread) and curried chicken.)

Man going by on a bike with a small boom box hanging from the handle bars — “Say a prayer for me.”

+Nicole — She gave many heavy burdens to Jesus (family, job, etc.)

Man on the other side of the street called out “Pray that I will make it through this day’s work.”

+Jew (young woman) — “Sickness and stress.” She also took a cross for her +daughter.

Steve — We prayed for protection from any more accidents to his hands. He is having knee surgery in June.

+Okaya (young boy) — “For my mother +Tiffany.”

Man rushing by held out his cross for us to see that he is still visibly wearing it.

+Hank — He is disabled. In the 1980s he took out a higher education loan of $1,000 and then was disabled and people told him he didn’t need to repay the load. This turned out not to be true and he has thus far $14,000 on the interest on the loan and still is not able to get free of it.

+Shawn — “My mother died a couple of months ago. I’m trying to keep my job and stay out of jail. I’ve been praying a lot lately.”

+Dean — He asked for a really powerful prayer and I prayed that God would really “sock it to him.”

+Churala (man) — “Wisdom.”
