Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26)
Holy Spirit, please help us in our weakness. Pray through us for the Father’s kingdom purposes.
Now he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:27)
Holy Spirit, help us to be intercessors for the whole Body of Christ — for the lost and the least, for the great and the powerful, and for our brothers and sisters in the pews next to us.
Jesus, we long to intercede for others according to the mind of your Spirit.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 )
Father, we cry out to you for those need who are called according to your good purposes.
For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Romans 8:29)
Holy Spirit, conform us to the image of Jesus; help us to have his mind in us.
Moreover whom He predestined, these he also called; whom he called, these he also justified; and whom he justified, these he also glorified. (Romans 8:30)
Jesus, Thank you for
Bringing us to your glory.
A word received: Pray that my people will know me.

I have a prayer request. There is a great lady I’ve known since I was a child. She’s very sick. On top of that, she’s being abused by many of those to whom she has given everything, it breaks my heart. It seems there’s nothing I can do alone. But maybe, if we join in and lift her up God will heal her. She is well over two hundred years old but way to young to die. Her name is America and I love her. Will you please pray for her? ~Unknown.
2 Chronicles 7:14 writes:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Subject: Phew…near miss A day in the life of a priest.
So, I am driving home after the healing service tonight with all my windows open. A bat flys in through the car window and hangs onto the head rest of the passenger side seat. A rat with wings! Nasty. I pull over, real quick and search the car. You see I really don’t like bats! Blood pressure off the charts… Major adrenalin rush. Flash light out, no bat. Pull away and then the bat starts flying around the car again, in my space… Wow, this is nasty. I pull over, flashers on, open the off side doors and begin the search again. Please don’t bite me Mr. Bat.
So a police car stops. “Are you Ok Father?” the trooper asks. “Nope, not really.” I respond as calmly as I could…Well now it gets really interesting. So here am I a priest, with my collar on with a police car behind me, flashing lights etc. and the trooper and I are searching the car for a bat! He tells me, “They can get into really small spaces Father.” I say, “Thank you.”
Not really sure what people thought when they drove by in this small village of Greenwich. That priest been drinking, that priest doing drugs? We could not find the bat. I am still shaking… I do hope and pray it is not in the car tomorrow! Please pray that it has flown the coop, as it were… Nasty experience. Don’t recommend it! Ok Robin, where’s Batman when you need him? Calm now down Mumford. ~ Fr. Nigel Mumford
