Freemasonry

Baphomet is a name of unestablished origin. It first appeared in trial transcripts during the Inquisition of the Knights Templar in the early 1300s. (Interestingly, he is horned, as is Cernunnos, the Celtic deity.)
I, quite frankly, don’t know what the secret oaths of the Knights Templar and Freemasonry entail. In my research on Canterbury Cathedral, I found a Freemason newsletter which pointed to the building of Canterbury Cathedral as part of their historical heritage. So . . . JW

Dear Heavenly Father,
We see through a glass darkly. If any portion of Canterbury Cathedral and the town of Canterbury was dedicated to an idol, particularly Baphomet and idols of Freemasonry or Cernunnos and Celtic idols, we sever that spiritual connection with the sword of the Spirit. At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth. We bind these spirits up in the name of Jesus, and we bind up any interaction, interplay, or communication with other demonic forces. We send them to the feet of Jesus. Should Baphomet, or any other idol of Freemasonry or Celtic religion, have a legal claim to Canterbury Cathedral and the town of Canterbury, it is now rendered null and void.
Jesus is holy. Jesus is true. He has the key of David. What he opens, no man can shut. What he shuts, no man can open. Jesus, we cry out for Your people in the Church of England and the Anglican Communion. Bar the access of these unseen forces to Bishop Welby’s enthronement and the exercise of his office in the Church of England and the Anglican Communion. Lock the door, we pray. Amen
