Mark 6:30-31 and Exodus 15:27

Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. (Mark 6:30)
Holy Spirit, bring us all to times where we “report in” to Jesus and tell him all that we have doing in the ministry he has given us.

And he said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. (Mark 6:31)
Jesus, help each of us come apart to a quiet place with you on a regular basis and find rest in your arms of love for us.

Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters. (Exodus 15:27)
Father, as you guided the children of Israel through the desert to Elim and pools of living water, guide us to such places of rest and refreshment in you. Thank you.
