Attending the enthronement

March 16, 2013

Dear Lord,
At the enthronement of Archbishop Welby, grant faith to Your prophets, humility to Your deacons, patience to Your teachers, generosity to Your donors, discretion to those who exhort, diligence to the rulers, and cheerfulness to the merciful. Renew the minds of those attending so that the outworking of this event will be pleasing unto You. Amen.
Romans 12:2-8

Romans 9:20-21

March 16, 2013

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? (Romans 9:20-21)
Father, help each of us accept the way you have shaped us and help us be vessels filled with your Holy Spirit to bring honor and glory to your son Jesus. Thank you.

A word received 3/7/13: You are going through this time of distress — know that I AM with you.

A word received 3/8/13: I AM still here.

A word received 3/13/13: I AM with you in all your distresses and pain. Keep looking to me — I AM there with you.

A word received 3/15/13: Look to me for light in the darkness.
