Luke 22:24-27

Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. And he said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves. (Luke 22:24-27)
Holy Spirit, give us all servants hearts. Bless all those who are called to the deaconate, but help us all hear your call to go forth into the harvest fields as your servants.

A word received: Pray for ears that listen to me and hearken to my word.

Then he said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. (Luke 10:2)
Holy Spirit, move our hearts to pray daily that you will send forth laborers into the harvest fields. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8 )
