Honduras–1nation1day

August 18, 2013

In 2011, Missions.Me launched the “1Nation1Day” initiative in Honduras – a project that has attracted the largest foreign missions team in history and was officially declared a national holiday by the Honduran President. Two thousand short-term missionaries spread out around the country for a week-long gospel invasion. Simultaneous rallies were held in 19 soccer stadiums, inviting the entire country to follow Jesus Christ.

Christ Jesus,
Your victory over death has cancelled the legal demands in force against the nation of Honduras. You have canceled all the regulations, decrees, and demands against Your children in this land. You have triumphed over the principalities and powers that are ranged against Honduras. You have ascended on high and are seated at the right hand of the Father in realms of everlasting day. May the Father’s kingdom come and His will be done in Honduras as it is in heaven. Amen.
Colossians 2:14-15

Hebrews 12:1-2

August 18, 2013

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, (Hebrews 12:1a)
Therefore with Angels and Archangels, and with all the company of heaven, we join with them in praising and thanking you, Jesus.

let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, (Hebrews 12:1b)
A word received 9/20/09: Ask for my strength to endure. Pray for my little ones who do not understand what is happening. Pray for my strength daily.

Holy Spirit, please help us cast off all those old habits and resentments which drag us down. Help us recognize them for what they are and put on love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)
Jesus, we look to you to carry us through to victory.

A word received: Come to me all you who are weary and I will refresh you.
