Psalm 138:7-8

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me; (Psalm 138:7a)
Father, revive me by your Holy Spirit.

You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand will save me. (Psalm 138:7b)
Jesus, I look to you for protection from all who would harm me.

The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; (Psalm 138:8a)
LORD, bring me to that maturity and perfection you desire for me.

Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; (Psalm 138:8b)
Jesus, thank you for sending your Holy Spirit into me day by day. Thank you for your mercy and grace. [Mercy is not getting what we deserve; grace is getting what we do not deserve.]

Do not forsake the works of your hands. (Psalm 138:8c)
I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. (Psalm 37:25) Thank you, Father, for caring for us all these years.
