Schenectady City Mission Prayer Table Report, Thursday, February 27, 2014, 5:10 – 6:10 p.m.. Torre and Jean Bissell, and Chuck Rinaldo from Christ Church Schenectady. This took place during the evening meal at the City Mission.

Dan (staff) — He asked prayer for Taisha (woman) who is a member of the community meal who is having surgery. He also asked prayer for his wife’s cousin Debbie who has Stage 4 cancer.
Gary (staff) — We prayed for his wife Debbie who is in pain; for Joanne who needs a kidney, and for the message he would be giving to those who had come to the meal.
Ted (volunteer) — His granddaughter Camille had a reaction to the antibiotics she was receiving for Lyme’s disease. We also prayed for his peripheral neuropathy.
Ken (man) — His girlfriend of 12 years died; he has lost his job; and he is angry with God. After praying with him, he invited Jesus into his heart.
++John (young man who gave his life to Jesus January 23rd) — He had to press charges against his father to the police (his father had held a knife to John’s throat) and his father was in jail. He asked prayer for his father’s safety. He also asked prayer for his mother who is sick. He took crosses for his father and mother.
+ a 199 Chris (man) — Gary (staff) had been his probation officer 18 years before. Gary invited him to sit down. Chris’ daughter Merjian (age 12) was adopted in Oklahoma without his permission because he couldn’t go there for the hearing. He has not seen his daughter for 10 years. He gave his life to Jesus and invited Jesus into his heart. He was crying.
+Rich (man) — He came up to me and introduced himself. I remembered his face but not his name. He said he had last seen me in 1999 at Christ Church.
