Kindle Ebook Deal: Max Lucado, He Chose the Nails

HeChoseNailsThe Kindle version of Max Lucado’s excellent devotional book on Christ’s Passion, He Chose the Nails, is currently available for a special price of $2.99 at Amazon. (Not sure for how long the price is valid…)

Here’s the link.

I read it some years ago and really appreciated it.

There was also a live musical and accompanying CD put together in 2000 drawing from the texts of Lucado’s work, featuring many excellent CCM artists (Twila Paris, Kim Hill, Natalie Grant, SonicFlood, Wes King…)  If you’re a fan of contemporary Christian worship music, it’s excellent listening for Holy Week.  I particularly love Wes King’s song The Thread of Scarlet.  Unfortunately, the CD seems to be out of print.  Maybe I can upload my copy of the CD here for our readers to enjoy.

Stay tuned…   In any case, even without the music, the book is great!

UPDATE:  I’ve uploaded my CD and you can enjoy several devotionals from the book and the accompanying musical selections.  Here’s the post with the embedded playlist:
