“Judge not, that you be not judged. (Matthew 7:1)
      Lord, have mercy.
      Christ, have mercy.
      Lord, have mercy.

For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. (Matthew 7:2)
      Lord, have mercy.
      Christ, have mercy.
      Lord, have mercy.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? (Matthew 7:3)
      Lord, have mercy.
      Christ, have mercy.
      Lord, have mercy.

Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? (Matthew 7:4)
      Lord, have mercy.
      Christ, have mercy.
      Lord, have mercy.

Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:5)
      Lord, have mercy.
      Christ, have mercy.
      Lord, have mercy.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 )
Holy Spirit, please help me daily seek, knock, and ask so that I may receive what you have for me, find, and fully enter into the kingdom of God.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)
Jesus, let that good work be established in the hearts of all who attend the Diocesan Convention. Help us carry that good work back to every parish in the diocese.

They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped the molded image. Thus they changed their glory into the image of an ox that eats grass. They forgot God their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, wondrous works in the land of Ham, awesome things by the Red Sea. Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen one stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he destroy them. (Psalm 106:19-23)
Holy Father, please help us to be intercessors like Moses who stand in the breach with our prayers so that your wrath is turned away from your people. Thank you.

A word received: You need not be afraid. Bring your fears to me.
